It is no secret that relationships play an essential part in the way we process challenges and enjoy life. This includes not only family, but also partners, friends, neighbors and even pets.

Optimize Your Emotional State
When feelings like loneliness, low mood, helplessness or even depression arise, good nutrition can help you manage them. When we are optimistic and well-balanced, it is easier to maintain a good nutritional Status.
Regain Your Independence
As you age, you may find it harder to move freely and take care of yourself without the help of a family member or a caregiver. Good nutrition can support this.
Exercise is key: Get moving
It is true that even a small amount of exercise can be beneficial for your overall health at any age. Regular physical activity in comination with adequate nutrition are essential to maintain good health.
Whether we play sports once a week, work out at the gym, work in the garden or go for walks: regular physical exercise will increase your energy needs and improve your nutritional intake.

Often we lose weight when we become older. But mostly, we do not lose body fat, weight loss is caused by muscle loss. Maintaining our muscular strength is an essential factor in maintaining our mobility as we age. Back problems, unsteadiness when going up the stairs and difficulty in walking can often be avoided with regular exercise. To support our muscle mass the daily diet should contain protein rich food like meat, milk or fish.
